I first started training with Rich in April of this year. I was constantly tired, drained and weak all the time due to a busy work schedule. A few weeks went by and I could feel the progress and I felt better in myself. However, work got busier and I was struggling to find time to myself, but Rich wouldn’t let me stop and he inspired me to keep going and get stronger. Today I feel a lot happier, stronger and I look a lot better too and I don’t think I could have achieved what I have without the support of Rich! Thank you.

I’ve known Rich for 5yrs and trained with him for 2. I can honestly say he gives you the results you desperately want. He pushes you to your limits and sometimes beyond, its made me mentally fitter and stronger.

I have worked with Rich on a regular basis for the last two years. Whilst I have seen tremendous changes in my body, I have also learnt a lot more about the importance of nutrition than I thought I ever would. Rich really helped provide clarity on the relationship between diet and exercise. As someone who has tried multiple ‘fad’ diets and compulsive exercise with little success. Rich instilled the importance of consistency. Whilst traveling, working and studying there have been multiple... times where I have been unable to stick to my plan religiously and at many times I have slipped up, gained a little and felt like giving up. However, Rich has been brilliant in keeping me on track despite a number of slip ups along the way and overall, I have managed to keep on track. My biggest hesitation when starting personal training was whether or not I was going to be able to keep up with it or if I would fail. However, once I started seeing results it is very difficult to stop. Working out and thinking about what I eat has now become an intuitive part of my daily life and is no longer something I do as a chore or start to try and start fresh every Monday. I now have a much healthier relationship with diet and exercise than I ever did before. Ok, where do I start, here goes. After many years of feeling fit and healthy, I unfortunately let things slide. I hadn’t gone into a gym for a few years with one reason or another, mainly being busy and putting other people first. My eating habits got seriously out of control, leaving me feeling fatigued, experiencing sleepless nights, pains in my stomach, and the extra weight I put on, leaving me out of breath and not wanting to socialise. I was too nervous to seek help, all my confidence... had gone, I’m not afraid to say this, but I was very emotional. My turning point was reading Rich’s profile, but even then it took me three months to message him for guidance and help. Rich sent me an e mail back oozing positivities, reassuring me he was listening to me. After our first consultation, i felt a lot better and was keen to start my journey as Rich certainly had the knowledge I was looking for. Nutrition being the most important for me and getting back to using weights. Rich put me on a ‘back to basics’ method, which suited me starting again. I certainly didn’t want to be bombarded with ridiculously heavy weights. I quickly noticed a difference in muscle tone, my core and posture have so improved, I’m walking a lot taller. This brought my confidence back, and with Rich’s knowledge of nutrition that I followed, this made me less fatigued, improved my skin appearance and improved my ability with daily stress. Rich kept my training interesting at all times throughout my time with him, by regularly changing my program and giving me a full body workout. Rich’s knowledge of nutrition, weights health and wellbeing are outstanding, and for the first time in a very long time, I feel in control of my life both physically and mentally. Rich is a personable professional at all times. I’m now 50 and I feel great! Loving life and feeling stronger and fitter. I’m loving the results I’ve got from Rich. I decided to start training with Rich as I’d moved to the area with work and was looking for a personal trainer. Rich had lots of great reviews, so I got in touch with him. From the initial consultation it was clear that he was very knowledgeable and passionate about his work, and was keen to help educate his clients with the best ways to approach nutrition and fitness. During our training I experienced a few setbacks with pain in my knee and then shoulder, which were linked to my job and... postural habits. Rich always adapted my training appropriately and drew on his experience of chronic pain and what he’d done to overcome it. This knowledge was absolutely invaluable and he understood what I was going through and helped me to manage the issues that had arisen. I also lost weight whilst training with him, which was an added bonus as it wasn’t the main aim of our training sessions. One of the best outcomes of the training is that it’s given me the confidence to go to the gym and train by myself. This was always something I was quite anxious about and I didn’t feel like I knew what to do or how to train to meet my goals. I would tend to prefer a class/group exercise session. After 7 months of training with Rich, I now go the gym to weight-train because I know how to pick the correct weights, how to perform the exercises and how to challenge myself appropriately. After years of yo-yo dieting and never really achieving the results I wanted I made the decision to join the gym. As someone who, at that point, was extremely overweight it was a daunting prospect, one of the first trainers I came into contact with was Rich and not long after joining the gym I decided that if I was going to make the right changes this time, I needed support and he was the perfect person to help me. The reason I chose Rich is because at any point I encountered him, he always was... welcoming and answered any questions I had in a way that made complete sense to a fitness novice like myself. The differences that training with Rich has made are not just physical, although that was my goal originally, the improvements to my mental health and well being have been a major bonus, along with greater confidence, I have more energy, sleep better, improved posture and balance – none of which I would have achieved with out the help support and knowledge that rich demonstrates. Knowing that Rich is there to help and make me accountable, for the first time in years I have taken control of bad habits that had caused my weight issues, continue to grow in strength whilst reaching my weight loss goals, one thing that really stands out about training with Rich, is there is always a solution, no matter what problem I throw at him, be it physical, mental or an injury, there is always an answer to fix it/overcome it. Richard was an absolute star, before I was training with him I was in a right pickle was unhappy with myself both physically and mentally I was on a right down. But training with him once a week for just under a year was the best thing! He helped with my confidence made me feel 100% better about myself and he was always someone to chat to. He’s a great laugh too, and I would recommend to anyone looking to get into shape and stay on track! I learnt so much about eating and training and really... enjoyed pushing myself! I lifted weights heavier than I ever thought I could! Don’t get me wrong the sessions were super tough but they varied and that’s made it easier to stick with. Before I started training with Rich I was unhappy with my appearance and had tried pretty much every diet out there to shift the weight I gained living the student lifestyle. From the first session Rich made me feel really comfortable and knew my limits better than I did! Although I didn't have much self-confidence, Rich had faith in me and I soon noticed my weight decreasing and my strength increasing. He gave me so much advice about nutrition, macros, recipes and supplements. He seemed to... know everything! He was incredibly patient, empathetic and full of encouragement. Before I started, I was skinny, had no muscle and often suffered from lower back pain. It became one of those now or never moments to improve myself and gain knowledge I can use in the future to remain fit and healthy. Right from our first meeting, I found it personalised to my needs and goals. When I first started with Rich I was in a lot of back pain and I mean a lot, constant aches and sometimes unbearable pain which restricted movement!! Rich was very very patient and made me feel at ease straight away. My main goal was to lose the back pain and build up my strength, throughout the 3 months I struggled with a lot of the exercises, range of motion etc. But Rich was always there with an alternative and got the best out of my training! I felt so much better and pain free!! He also... started my education on nutrition and went into why and how it effects the body the way it does which helped me understand it that much more! Before I started having sessions with Richard, I had experienced so much inconsistency with training and also with my nutrition; I was really motivated but I seriously lacked any knowledge of how to achieve the goals that I had in mind. Richard is an excellent personal trainer. I was really unfit, and in quite a lot of back pain, when I started my sessions with him. He has been really patient and encouraging, finding exercises that work with my back condition and always keeping things challenging but with loads of encouragement. I can't believe how much progress I've made thanks to him! Highly recommended 🙂

After a 6 week plan with Richard i definitely noticed an improvement. The diet plan combined with enjoyable fitness plans really helped to start working towards my goals! Working with Richard helped me gain confidence in the gym, and gave me a wider knowledge about what I should be doing!
